Five local golfers competing at Canadian Junior Boys Championship

Five young golfers from central Alberta will be among the best in the country competing at the Canadian Junior Boys Championship in Medicine Hat next week.
The national tournament will take place at the Medicine Hat Golf and Country Club July 30 – August 2 to determine the top junior golfer in Canada.
Among those from central Alberta competing, Chandler McDowell from Springbrook, Jace Ouellette from Red Deer County, Carter Graf from Sylvan Lake and Chase Broderson and Brady McKinlay from Lacombe.
McDowell won the Alberta Golf Junior Boys Championship by 11 strokes earlier this month in Sundre. McKinlay tied for eighth place, Broderson finished tied for 13th while Ouelette tied for 19th and Graf tied for 30th.
