Flu claims three more central Albertans

Three more people from central Alberta died from influenza-related illnesses this week.
That brings the total number of flu-related deaths in the Central Zone this season to nine, according to the latest date from AHS, out of 614 lab-confirmed cases.
The flu has resulted in 123 people being hospitalized in the AHS Central Zone so far this season.
Province-wide, there have been 24 flu-related deaths and 1,068 hospitalizations.
