Pay before you pump legislation on the way

EDMONTON- The Notley government is bringing in legislation today to force all drivers to pay ahead of time for gas at the pump.

Government house leader Brian Mason says there have been two recent deaths of workers trying to stop people from fleeing without paying.

A gas-station owner in the town of Thorsby was killed three weeks ago.

In August, Joshua Cody Mitchell was sentenced to 11 years in prison for running over and killing a Calgary station attendant.
