Mounties seek vandals following massive party at Satinwood School site

Local Mounties are investigating after damage was done during a massive party at the Satinwood School site over the weekend.

Blackfalds RCMP were called at about 11 p.m. Saturday to attend to a large party taking place at the former school near Joffre. 

Reports indicated between 100 and 300 people were at the location drinking, playing loud music and causing a disturbance. 

“Several hundred” youth were observed at the location upon police arrival, Blackfalds RCMP say in a release. The youth were found drinking alcohol, lighting fireworks, and fights were beginning. A large bonfire was also burning on the grounds.
