Pilot injured in plane crash near Didsbury

Mounties from Olds and Disbury were called out Friday morning after a small plane crashed at the local airport.

Local EMS and file crews were also called in just after 10:30 a.m. to assist. 

Upon arrival, the lone male pilot was located outside of the aircraft and was treated on scene by EMS and later transported to Calgary hospital for further assessment. 

The crash occurred during take off. Transport Canada will be investigating with help from Olds RCMP.
