Victory Church of Red Deer to hold bottle drive in benefit of victims of earthquake in Colombia

The Victory Church of Red Deer is inviting the public to take part in a bottle drive in benefit of the families affected by the recent earthquake in Colombia.

The community bottle and donation drive will take place on Saturday, Aug. 22 at Potter’s Hands Ministries (5202-53 Avenue) from 1 to 7 p.m.

There will also be a prayer and worship held at 5:30 p.m.

“This is an opportunity for the Christian community of Red Deer to demonstrate compassion, unity and practical support to people facing loss, hardship and uncertainty. Thank you for considering this invitation and for helping us extend its reach,” they wrote in a media release.
