Red Deer Ringette hosting free ‘try it’ session

Red Deer Ringette wants you to give the sport a shot.
Kids ages 4-16 are invited to experience what organizers call the ‘fastest game on ice’ during a ‘Come Try It’ ringette event at the G.H. Dawe Centre on Aug. 30.
The event runs from 11:45 to 1 and is free.
“We want every child and youth to feel welcome and have the opportunity to discover ringette in a fun, supportive environment,” says Chris Weiss, VP, operations, Red Deer Ringette.
