Traditional Celtic music coming to Snell Auditorium

The Friends of the Red Deer Public Library are pleased to present Ms.Tracie Skeet-Brook soprano, Celtic lap harp, Merlin, Irish Whistle.

Tracie brings to life the magic of traditional Celtic music through song while allowing her beautiful voice to soar.

The free concert will be held on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026 in the Snell Auditorium of the Red Deer Public Library (Downtown Branch) from 12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Sometimes during the year, you will notice that registration is full. We encourage you to come. There is limited standing room. We will do our best to provide you with seating.

Live streaming of First Thursday concerts

If you are unable to attend the concert in person, the concert will be streamed live on our YouTube channel and at rdpl.org/first-thursday. Click on the YouTube channel in the previous sentence and you will be directed to the site.

Donations Thanks to those who have made donations in support of the First Thursday concerts. These funds have been used to pay fees and expenses for the musicians presenting at the Library. If anyone wishes to support these concerts, cheques should be made out to the Red Deer Public Library, with a memo for CONCERTS. A charitable receipt will be issued.
