RCMP, fire crews respond to structure fire on Highway 595

The cause of a structure fire is under investigation after Red Deer RCMP and fire crews attended the scene this morning on Highway 595 between 30 Avenue and Range Road 270.

Police say they were rerouting traffic because the road was impassable due to safety precautions.

RCMP asked citizens to avoid the area, but the road has since been reopened, and the scene has been cleared. However, fire crews remain on scene.
