Rebels trade Yellowaga to Victoria for draft picks

The Red Deer Rebels have moved on from defenceman Nate Yellowaga.
On Tuesday, they traded the Calgarian to the Victoria Royals for three draft picks.
The Rebels received a fourth-round pick in the 2027 WHL Prospects Draft, a second-round pick in the 2028 draft from the Saskatoon Blades, and a fourth-round pick in the 2030 draft.
The 18-year-old suited up for the Rebels for just one season in 2025-26 after he was drafted by the club in the ninth round in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft.
