High streamflow advisories in place for spots around central Alberta

The rainfall warning has ended; however, ‘high streamflow advisories’ are in effect for several spots around central Alberta.

An advisory is impacting the following rivers as of 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, and can be tracked here:

1. Battle River near Ponoka
2. Blindman River near Blackfalds, and near Bluffton
3. Raven River (west of Innisfail)
4. North Saskatchewan River near Rocky Mountain House
5. Prairie Creek near Rocky Mountain House
6. Little Red Deer near Water Valley (west of Cremona)
7. Paintearth Creek near Halkirk

The City of Red Deer is issuing updates here regarding the Red Deer River where it flows through Red Deer. It is not currently under an advisory.
