Pregnancy Care Centre hosting 4th annual Ladies’ Afternoon Tea
The 4th annual Ladies’ Afternoon Tea, hosted by the Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre, is happening Saturday, May 2.
The event starts at 1:30 at CrossRoads Church, and will raise funds for The Aerie Maternity Home.
The Aerie is open to single women, with referral to the CAPCC. It is a two-phase maternity home program in Red Deer, which can accommodate up to 11 women and their infants. At times, some clients will stay until their child is four-years-old.
While in the second phase of the home, women can pursue education and/or employment while strengthening parenting and life skills, the CAPCC’s website notes.
