The Innisfail Eagles held their annual awards banquet to wrap up the team’s 79th season.

The banquet was held on Saturday, April 26, at the Royal Canadian Legion to recognize everyone who played a role in the team’s success including players, families, sponsors, volunteers and fans.

“As a volunteer-run organization, the Eagles also used the evening to highlight the community effort required to keep senior hockey thriving in Innisfail,” the Eagles stated in a press release. “From board leadership and game-day volunteers to sponsors and fundraising partners, the club depends on broad community involvement. Events such as the awards banquet and the upcoming Blades & Birdies Golf Tournament help support operations and contribute to the long-term strength of the organization.”

Following the banquet, guests continued the evening at the Fox and Hound for an after-party featuring live music by Cole Martin.
