Hit and run suspect sought after incident in Anders area

Red Deer RCMP are turning to the public for help following an alleged hit and run in the city this week.

They say it was just before 1 p.m. on Sept. 2 when Mounties responded to a reported hit and run near the intersection of Archer Drive and Adair Avenue — in the Anders on the Lake subdivision.

A 20-year-old woman was struck by a silver pick-up truck with a green decal. The vehicle was travelling westbound.

The driver did not remain on scene.
