Traffic impacts to being next week for traffic signal infrastructure upgrades

Motorists are advised of upcoming traffic impacts as crews work to update traffic signal infrastructure in the downtown area throughout the fall.

Starting September 2, 2025, crews will begin work on the signals at the following intersections:

• 49 Avenue and 49 Street
• 48 Avenue and 49 Street
• 47 Avenue and 49 Street
• 50 Avenue and 45 Street

During the work there will be intermittent lane, parking and sidewalk closures. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to obey all signs and expect delays.
