Red Deer motorcyclist killed in Friday night collision

A collision on Friday night between a pick-up truck and a motorcycle claimed the life of a 27-year-old Red Deer resident.

Red Deer RCMP responded to the collision on Aug. 22 at 9:54 p.m., which took place at 77 Street and Keast Way.

The individual who died at the scene was the driver of the motorcycle.

Meanwhile, a 30-year-old female passenger from Springbrook suffered serious injuries and was taken to an Edmonton hospital by STARS. The driver of the truck had minor injuries.
