Applications open for Red Deer’s Community Recreation Enhancement Grant

Applications are now open for the City of Red Deer’s Community Recreation Enhancement Grant, an opportunity for groups to enhance their delivery of community recreation programs, services and events in the city.

Submissions must be made online through the City’s portal. The deadline for this spring round of applications is 4 p.m. on April 4.

This year, there is a new opportunity for community organizations to join the City for a virtual information session on the grants, which will take place March 4 at 7 p.m. Participants must RSVP and can do so on the City’s website.

Each year, Red Deer awards almost $100,000 to community sport and recreation groups in order to support or enhance their ability to deliver services or programs to residents.
