Radisson returns to original name in iHotel rebrand

Oct 24, 2024 | 10:41 AM

The Radisson Hotel Red Deer is excited to announce a rebranding back to its original title, the iHotel and Conference Centre.

The change went into effect on August 1, 2024, and represents a “desire and commitment to continue to provide a first-class accommodation in Red Deer,” said Karima and Rumi Suleman, owners of the iHotel.

This marks a return to the iHotel brand, which was its name from 2012 to 2015 before it was rebranded as a Radisson hotel.

“We felt that there are several branded properties in the Red Deer market now compared to years past and we saw an opportunity to provide a unique experience tailored to our guests needs,” the Sulemans said.

Karima has been a part of the Red Deer community since 1989.

“Our father built this hotel many moons ago. He was extremely proud of the hotel and being part of the community,” Karima said.

The iHotel boasts 142 rooms and suites, over 20,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space, an indoor pool, hot tub, steam room, fitness facility, business centre, lounge, and restaurant.
