Trial dates scheduled for Sundre woman accused of sexual assault

Jul 24, 2024 | 9:58 AM

Trial dates have been set for a central Alberta woman facing sexual assault-related charges involving youth.

Alexa Marie Suitor, 33, of Sundre, is scheduled for trial in Calgary Court of Justice from June 23-26, 2025.

It was on March 27, 2024, when Sundre RCMP were made aware of a complaint of an alleged sexual assault involving a volunteer with the Sundre Minor Hockey Association. RCMP initiated an investigation and determined there were four victims, all male teenagers.

On April 5, 2024, Alexa Suitor was arrested and charged with the following:

  • sexual interference
  • sexual assault
  • making sexually explicit material available to a child (x4)

As the matter is now before the courts, and in an effort to protect the victim’s privacy, Mounties say no further information will be released.
