Sundre RCMP charge minor hockey volunteer with sexual assault

A central Alberta woman is facing sexual assault-related charges involving youth.

On March 27, 2024, Sundre RCMP were made aware of a complaint of an alleged sexual assault involving a volunteer with the Sundre Minor Hockey Association. RCMP say they initiated an investigation and determined that there were four victims, all male teenagers.

On April 5, 2024, Alexa Suitor, 32, a resident of Sundre, was arrested and has been charged with the following:

• Sexual Interference
• Sexual Assault
• Making Sexual Explicit material available to a child (x4)

Following a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, Suitor was released on conditions to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Didsbury on April 22, 2024.
