Alberta NDP caucus announce new leadership

The Alberta NDP Caucus announced Monday Christina Gray, MLA for Edmonton Mill Woods and former Minister of Labour, as Leader of the Official Opposition, and Rakhi Pancholi, MLA for Edmonton-Whitemud, as Deputy Leader.

“This is an exciting time for our caucus and movement, and we are looking forward to continuing to fight for a better future for all Albertans,” said Gray.

Pancholi, who served as Education Critic, said she welcomes the new responsibility of Deputy Leader.

“Our caucus is made up of a diverse group of exceptional Albertans ready for this next chapter and I am so proud to help lead this amazing team.”
