School divisions’ best bus drivers show their stuff

A fun and competitive event held earlier this month near the Collicutt and two high schools once again saw local bus drivers crowned the best in the region.

The school bus ‘road-eo’ tests drivers’ abilities in a several skill-testing challenges.

Here are the winners:

2nd Place/Rookie – Jancie Setter

A surprise award for best Road-e-o Spirit also went to an individual who shows enthusiasm, commitment, and team spirit. That was given to Kelli Frere from Chinook’s Edge School Division.

Winners of the event move on to the 41st Provincial School Bus Driver Skills Competition, which will be held at Alberta Motor Transportation Association (AMTA) headquarters in Leduc on June 8.
