Minister Glubish to attend global workshop on AI

Minister of Technology and Innovation Nate Glubish will travel to California this week to attend a global workshop centred on artificial intelligence.

Provincial officials say Minister Glubish will participate in the Transformative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshop, a three-day, by-invitation event for world-renowned AI experts.

Officials say the event brings experts together to discuss research and some of the potential economic and societal impacts that AI will introduce as the technology advances.

“Alberta is a global leader in AI. This workshop gives us the opportunity to learn from leading AI experts and thought leaders to ensure we are delivering faster, better, safer and smarter services to every Albertan,” says Nate Glubish, Minister of Technology and Innovation.
