For those who are unable to attend the concert in person, the Library says it will be streamed live on their website and YouTube channel.

Library officials thanked those who have made donations in support of the First Thursday concerts. They say the funds have been used to pay fees and expenses for the musicians presenting at the Library. If anyone wishes to support the concerts, cheques should be made out to the Red Deer Public Library, with a memo for CONCERTS. They say a charitable receipt will be issued.

The Library has confirmed that a special concert titled “Celebrate The Music of Vernon Murgatroyd” will be held on Saturday, November 4, featuring performance by local musicians. Murgatoyd is a composer, musician, and friend of the Red Deer Music Community. Taking place at Gaetz United Church at 7 p.m., general seating will be by donation with reserved tickets at $10.
