Sin City Illusions brings magic and fun to Red Deer July 7

This summer in Red Deer, be amazed by three of Canada’s very best magicians, Matt DiSero, Ken Margoe and Ken Pham.

The trio make up Sin City Illusions, which incorporated just nine months ago. Since, the group has toured across Canada, performing at large venues such as Winter Garden Toronto, The Royal Victoria, Centrepointe Meridian Theatres Ottawa, and the London Centennial Hall.

They have over 40 shows planned across the country in the coming months.

That includes in Red Deer where their 80-minute show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on July 7 at the Scott Block Theatre (4816 50 Avenue).

“Sin City Illusions started two years ago, right around when things were opening up again,” says Pham. “I was promoting some smaller shows at bars and clubs, and was able to get Matt and Ken on my shows. This was quite amazing, since they are both very accomplished magicians and have performed on TV and on huge stages.”

Matt DiSero: One of Canada’s most sought after magicians, Matt has worked with comedy greats such as Drew Carey & Jerry Seinfeld. He has starred on Penn and Teller’s Fool Us, and has headlined shows at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. He has performed at exotic locales such as Tokyo, Italy, London, Cypress, Australia, United States. We are VERY lucky to have him on our show, and you’ll see why!

Ken Margoe: This guy catches bullets for a living! Ken was the headliner in the VIP room at Illusionarium, and holds the record for the most dangerous magic trick: 26 bullet catches in one day. He has performed for the New York Knicks, Woody Harrelson, 50 Cent,The Rolling Stones, Much Music, City TV, and many more. This is not a show that you want to miss.

Ken Pham: With a large following and over 10 million views on social media, Ken has taken his act from behind the screen to the live stage with much fanfare. He’s performed at sold out venues such as Winter Garden Theatre Toronto, Showtime Comedy, The Royal Comedy Theatre, Five Points Theatre, and Meridian Centrepointe Theatres. His act involves mentalism, magical stage props, and a whole lot of laughter.

“The highlight of the show will be the levitation act, where I pick a random audience member to levitate on stage. We will also give away some prizes too,” adds Pham.

“The mission statement of Sin City Illusions is to provide world class entertainment for families across Canada at an affordable price. We want to make it feasible for people to take their families out to a show.”
