Police are investigating after a person was shot in Ponoka in recent days.
Ponoka RCMP say it was just before 3 a.m. on May 4 when they received a report of a shooting at or near 57 Avenue in Ponoka.
Upon arrival, officers located a 39-year-old person with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to hospital and they remain in critical but stable condition.
Although early in the investigation, RCMP believe this may have been a targeted attack.
