Removal of damaged and dying trees takes place this week at Heritage Ranch

The City says staff will be felling trees in and around the trails at Heritage Ranch this week.

They say the work is expected to take place from Monday, March 27 to March 31, 2023.

The trails will remain open; however, trail users are being advised that there may be crews working throughout the area.

“The felling and removal of these trees is limited to those that are dying and damaged to reduce risk for trail users and the public,” said Doug Evans, the City’s Biodiversity Supervisor.
