Registration Open for Red Deer Hospice’s Run Hike Event

Registration for the 16^th Annual Run/Hike for Hospice is now open.

We are grateful to have RSM Red Deer once again as our sponsor for our annual Run/Hike. Whether you choose to walk, run or stroll, Sunday May 28^th, is the day to remember and reflect while taking in the natural beauty of the trails in and around Bower Ponds and support end of life care in Central Alberta.

Teams and individuals can register on the Red Deer Hospice website for $25 per person. Registration includes a T Shirt for the first 200 registrants. You can choose between one three or five kilometers and enjoy a light breakfast or a hot post-race lunch from Mr. Mikes, while listening to live entertainment from the Band- Fun House in the amphitheater.

“This event is a beautiful way of remembering a loved one, while spending time with family and friends,” shared Jerri Taylor, Executive Director of Red Deer Hospice. “As a key fundraiser for our organization, we hope to raise $38,000 this year.” Donations will go towards Red Deer Hospice’s mission of supporting a peaceful and compassionate end of life journey.
