Red Deer RCMP locate stolen vehicle

Red Deer RCMP have recovered a stolen vehicle this weekend.

On Mar. 12, 2023, at approximately 9:56 p.m., Red Deer RCMP say they recognized a White Chevrolet Avalanche, which had been previously reported as stolen, in the area of 58 Ave and 60 St.

Police say they attempted to stop the vehicle, which sped away at a high rate of speed, left the road and collided with a power pole.

Mounties arrested two males at the scene and charges are still pending. The truck was confirmed to be stolen and no injuries were sustained to the occupants.
