PAMZ Blue Skies Awards Is Now Accepting Nominations

The Parkland Airshed Management Zone (PAMZ) has announced that its Blue Skies Awards 2023 program is now accepting nominations.

Officials say award recipients will be recognized at an in-person ceremony on June 22, 2023. The ceremony will showcase a video airing their achievements.

It’s noted these awards recognize individuals and organizations taking exemplary steps to improve air quality in the PAMZ region. The awards recognize achievements in:

  • Innovation and application of technology to reduce energy use and air pollution.
  • Environmental protection activities that reduce air pollution, conserve energy, or protect environmental health.
  • Public education and outreach activities that reduce air pollution to protect and promote a healthy environment.

If you know of an individual, business, educational institution, local government agency or not-for-profit organization whose exemplary actions occur in the PAMZ region, you are encouraged to nominate them or yourself. Nomination forms are available at https://pamz.org/blue-skies/. Please submit all nominations to info@pamz.org by April 14, 2023.
