Coronation detachment members were able to locate the suspects with the help from the property rep via a traffic stop.

Killam and Viking RCMP members attended and assisted taking the suspects in custody. The four suspects were held for a Justice of the Peace hearing.

Accused are a 40-year-old woman from Alliance, a 44-year-old man from Killam, a 43-year-old man from Stettler, and a 40-year-old woman from Stettler.

“In a small community the problems associated with property related crimes are amplified,” says Sergeant John Pike, Detachment Commander Coronation RCMP, “ As part of our Rural Crime Reduction Strategy, we encourage members of the public/businesses to report suspicious activity. With the assistance of the community and the property representative we were able to locate the suspects involved.”
