Local massage therapist accused of assaulting a female youth, ordered to stand trial

A Red Deer massage therapist accused of sexual assault has been ordered to stand trial.

Brian Moore, 51, of Red Deer County, was ordered to stand trial in Red Deer provincial court on Feb. 2, 2023. A trial date, however, has yet to be set.

It was Feb. 23, 2022, police say, when they received a report of a sexual assault involving a Red Deer massage therapist.

Through investigation, Mounties say it was then determined and alleged that the man sexually assaulted a female youth during a massage at a downtown chiropractor business.
