Red Deer Hospice replaces 10 resident beds
The Red Deer Hospice is celebrating the arrival of 10 new resident beds which will allow greater access to best as possible end-of-life care.
Need to replace original beds was identified last year, with a goal of raising $150,000. This also came with a request for a cuddle bed to accomodate loved ones.
“Our nursing staff is thrilled,” said Jerri Taylor, Executive Director. “They work hard to make residents comfortable while providing care, and these beds will make that easier to achieve.”
Added Taylor: “We are so thankful for the strong community support we received from our dedicated donors. They are the reason we were able to purchase this much needed equipment and truly make a difference in the comfort of our residents.”
