Mustard Seed in urgent need of bottled water

With summer temperatures soon to rise, The Mustard Seed says they are in desperate need of bottled water to keep Red Deer’s most vulnerable safe.

For those experiencing homelessness, officials at The Mustard Seed say extreme heat and insufficient water can pose dangerous risks and exposure-related illnesses such as heat stroke, heat exhaustion, and even death.

“The Mustard Seed is working hard to ensure that those in need of water are provided for – but we can’t do this alone,” the organization said in a release.

Apart from bottled water, The Mustard Seed has a list of other urgent summer essentials in need including toilet paper, deodorant and more.
