Tradition Lives lacrosse tournament back in Red Deer for 30th anniversary
The “Tradition Lives” Box Lacrosse Tournament is back this May long weekend and is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
After a two-year pause, the tradition hosted by the Red Deer Lacrosse Association will be held from May 20-23, 2022.
“I am most excited about seeing these kids get to play in a normal environment and to enjoy a tournament. Unfortunately through the pandemic we’ve had to put a lot of things on pause and these kids are ready,” said Amy Sissons, Tournament Chair. “I’m excited for these kids to finally have a little bit of normalcy.”
From Tyke (U8) to Midget divisions (U16), 42 teams are confirmed to be joining from across Western Canada, like Fort St. John, British Columbia, and Standing Buffalo Dakota First Nation, Saskatchewan.
