Traffic disruptions this weekend on 51 Avenue southbound

Motorists and pedestrians are advised of upcoming traffic disruptions as crewswork to complete roadway improvements along 51 Ave SB from 53 Street to 45 Street.
The milling will take place during the day on Sunday August 22 from 7a.m. to 12a.m. The paving is scheduled for the following weekend, Saturday August 28 and Sunday August 29 during the evening from 7p.m. to 6a.m.. Traffic will be limited to one lane only, therefore delays should be expected and alternative routes should be considered.
Signs are placed to notify drivers of detours and closures as they occur. Drivers are reminded to slow down when driving in construction zones and obey all signs. Pedestrians are reminded to cross only at designated crosswalks.
