Road closure scheduled to begin June 19 at McKenzie Road Roundabouts

Red Deer County is advising that the McKenzie Road overpass will be closed to traffic during construction.

Detours will be in place to allow Gasoline Alley West and East access from northbound and southbound on the QE II Highway. Signage and barricades will be in place, and detours will be in effect.

“Please exercise caution, slow down and respect speed limits in designated areas. Red Deer County thanks you for your patience and understanding during this process,” the county says in a release.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather.
