Cowboy Kicks fundraiser announces new date

A major fundraiser in support of Westerner Park and the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sport Medicine Team planned for this spring has been delayed until fall.

Originally scheduled for May 5, the launch of Cowboy Kicks has now been postponed until September 18, 2021.

Uniquely Western, officials with Westerner Park say Cowboy Kicks is a fundraising experience that combines elements of rodeo with an Albertan, artisan twist.

During the evening, 16 one-of-a-kind fiberglass boots, hand painted by Alberta artists, will be auctioned off through a charity auction, as well as a live auction.
