Red Deer County seeks public assistance in locating stolen equipment

Red Deer County is asking for the public’s assistance in locating equipment stolen from Protective Services Station 4 in Springbrook sometime overnight between Tuesday, April 6 and Wednesday, April 7.

An enclosed cargo trailer was stolen, containing equipment required to provide structure protection from the threat of impending wildfires.

The cargo trailer was recovered west of Innisfail, but some equipment is still missing, including:

– High pressure water pumps

– A generator
