Drayton Valley man wins $100,000 in EXTRA lottery

A Drayton Valley man is $100,000 richer, after winning big on his lottery ticket.

Darryl Antoniak discovered his Lotto 6/49 ticket won $100,000 on February 13 after checking it on the Lotto Spot! app and matching the last 6 digits of the EXTRA number.

“When I saw $100,000 on the screen, I turned to my wife and said, ‘I’m going hunting!,’” said Antoniak.

“I’ve been saving for a dream hunting trip for years,” he continued. “There’s nothing stopping me from going now!”

In addition to planning a big hunting trip, he says he will also pay off some bills.

Antoniak purchased his winning ticket at the Drayton Valley Husky, located at 5829 50 Avenue in Drayton Valley.

The winning number for the February 13 EXTRA draw was 1955818.
