6:08 A.M. – Call of a suspicious male in a vehicle, at an acreage in the Caroline area. When the property owner went to investigate, the male assaulted and threatened him and then fled on foot into the woods. The car had been just stolen 15 minutes prior from Caroline. Red Deer Police Dog Services attended and tracked the individual. He was located a few hours later walking on Highway #54 after a Clearwater County resident reported that a suspicious male was at the door asking for a glass of water and stating the police were after him.
