South bank trail closure extended

A portion of the south bank trail from Taylor Drive to CPR Pedestrian Bridge, adjacent to the Water Treatment Plant, will remain closed until November 1, 2020 to allow for completion of in-river work.
Following construction delays due to high river flows and additional repairs, construction crews are continuing in-river work as part of the Residuals Management Facility project at the Water Treatment Plant. Work includes modifications to an existing in-river raw water intake structure to convert it to an outfall structure.
Trail users are asked to use alternate trails, obey signs and give crews room to work.
