Dr. Hinshaw shares COVID-19 update for Sept. 9

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health is set to provide her latest update on COVID-19 in the province.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw will speak during a news conference scheduled for 3:30 p.m. You can watch the news conference below once it begins.

On Tuesday, Alberta reported its highest number of active COVID-19 cases since May 9 at 1,692.

There were also 619 new cases reported over the long weekend, and five additional deaths.
