Company continues to pitch thermal energy technology
An Alberta company continues making its pitch to the Town of Rocky Mountain House for its technology that uses the earth’s heat to generate electricity.
The Eavor-Loop technology harnesses the planet’s natural heat kilometers underground to be used at surface for heating or to generate electricity.
Paul Cairns, founder and Chief Business Development Officer and Director of Eavor Technologies Inc., told Rocky town council this week that the goal is to build a power generation station that can be built virtually anywhere.
“To make my point of anywhere, this facility could be built on mars,” claimed Cairn, who added that there is no place on this planet less expensive to build an Eavor-Loop than here in Alberta.
