Retiring Red Deer Public Schools superintendent receives farewell parade

It was an emotional farewell outside the central office of Red Deer Public Schools on Wednesday.

After a 33-year career in education, Stu Henry, Superintendent of Schools, is retiring.

In a surprise parade for Henry, more than 100 vehicles filled with teachers, staff and board members waved their hands and honked their horns in celebration as they drove by to offer their best wishes.
