Jun 5, 2020 | 9:09 AM

A 28-year-old woman from Red Deer faces charges after Mounties in Fort Saskatchewan arrested her in a vehicle that turned out to be stolen and had drugs inside.

Officers on patrol stopped the vehicle on May 29 after it was observed “not complying with vehicle equipment regulations.”

Officers determined the vehicle had been reported stolen from Red Deer the previous day and the occupants were subsequently arrested.

A search incidental to arrest turned up a taser, pepper spray and a small amount of methamphetamine.
