One active case of COVID-19 remains in Red Deer, province down to 814

Red Deer is down to just one person still experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 as active cases in the province continued their downward trend all the way to 814 on Saturday.

A total of 5,869 Albertans have recovered.

The province also recorded 18 new cases (6,818) and one new death (135).

There remain 48 people in hospital, a decline of six in the past day, and six are still in ICU.

To date, 621 cases have unknown exposure, and nearly 213,000 Albertans have been tested. There were 3,981 swabs taken in the last 24 hours.
