May 19, 2020 | 10:16 AM

Last week, students from École Secondaire Notre Dame High School competed in the Skills Alberta Virtual Competition.

The 2020 Skills Alberta Virtual Competition gives students the ability to showcase their skills they have learned through their Career and Technology Studies (CTS) classes.

Students from École Secondaire Notre Dame High School competed in:

· Alexi Morcom – Hairstyling

· Jayne Evans – Job Skill Demonstration

· Liam McAulay-Gigliotti – Culinary Arts

· Stephanie Blokland – Culinary Arts

Judging will be complete by May 22 and there will be a live streamed awards ceremony on May 29 at 6:30 p.m.

“We are thrilled that our students were still able to compete in the Skills Alberta Competition virtually this year. The Skills Alberta Competition is a perfect opportunity to showcase what students have learned in their CTS classes,” said Principal Rose McQuay at École Secondaire Notre Dame High School.
