Alberta surpasses 1000 confirmed cases of COVID-19, now 25 in Red Deer
Alberta now has 1075 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 107 more than yesterday, according to Premier Jason Kenney.
Kenney also announced an increase of five deaths in the province, bringing the total in Alberta to 18. One of the deaths is of a woman in her 20s from the Edmonton Zone, though it isn’t known if she had any underlying conditions.
There have also been 196 recoveries, 22 more than a day ago.
It was also stated that 137 cases are suspected to be from community transmission, an increase of 29.
