Police say the charges they are facing include possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of property obtained by crime, identity theft, possess instruments used to copy credit card data. Crookedlegs and Heap face several counts of fail to comply with a release order condition.

All three have been released from custody and are to appear in court in Rocky Mountain House on June 17.

“In this period of uncertainty, public safety remains an RCMP priority” says Staff Sergeant Carl Dinsdale, Detachment Commander of Rocky Mountain House RCMP. “While maintaining safe practices, our CRU will continue to focus on crime reduction and removing dangerous weapons from our streets.”
